The lust stalker is obsessed with sexual lust, single minded-in their goal of satiating the insatiable… to possess the object of their sexual affections. It’s not uncommon for the Lust stalker to have a particular fetish, and object or body part that acts as a focal point for their sexual fixations

The victims are typically strangers but strangers who are targeted because something about them meets the stalkers fetish.. which is exactly what they’re looking for.

This stalker enjoys the hunt itself, sometimes carefully coordinating their stalking efforts, other times they act impulsively. They see the target and they must have that person immediately  In order to possess their victim, the lust stalker’s attempts will quickly escalate into violence sometimes even murdering the victim.

Jerome (Jerry) Brudos, a serial murderer from Oregon, is an excellent example of the lust stalker, and the next subject in our overview of the 6 types of stalkers. Jerome Brudos is notable for his foot fetish, his obsession with women’s shoes, but also his escalating pattern of savagery. He cut off an ankle of one woman; he cut off a breast of another; a third, both breasts; and finally with the fourth victim, Brudos sent electrical shocks through her body while she hung from a rafter in his garage. Brudos was arrested while stalking his fifth victim, another young college woman.

In this episode, we will dive into the psychology of a Lust Stalker, using the infamous case of Jerome Brudos as our framework for understanding the driving forces behind this most heinous type of stalking behavior.

Here we will discuss the early developmental aspects of Jerome Brudos’s life, and how a toxic relationship with his mother early in life might have contributed to his sociopathy. It is in his past that we might discover how a rejected young boy can grow into a compulsive rapist, murder, and necrophiliac

Finally, we will explore the neurology of the foot fetish, a fetish that is remarkably common throughout history and culture.  Academic studies monitoring online foot fetish discussion groups have found that feet and foot accessories are the most fetishized of all non-genital body parts and objects.

Why is it that nearly half of all fetishes focus on feet and almost two-thirds of fetishes for objects associated with the body are for shoes and socks? A brilliant neurologist explains the connection between a foot fetish and phantom limb syndrome.

This is a special episode for the patrons of the podcast. We love you!!!
